When I made my angel wing necklace 17 years ago, in honor of our sister, Sophia, I never imagined that I would be making 100s of them over the years for others to honor their loved ones. It’s become such a powerful piece. So small, but special, hanging close to the hearts of those that wear it. Something that they can grasp when they need to feel close to the ones that they have lost. Each time someone asks me to make one and gives me the initials to engrave, I say a little prayer over it. I pray that little wing gives the wearer comfort when they need it and a reminder that their guardian angel is always with them. 🪽✨🙏🏻

I removed the diamonds, which were used for necklaces, and melted down the 14k yellow gold from her tennis bracelet to make a ring with her children’s birthstones. I sourced the peridot and Ceylon blue sapphire. 💚✨💙

His 14k yellow gold chain had weakened over time so I melted the gold into a solid bar and made a beveled edged cross to go on a new chain. ✝️✨

Over the last 14 years of deconstructing and reconstructing pieces from heirloom jewelry, I have learned that it’s a lot like remodeling a house. Sometimes it is better to tear the whole thing down than remodel. Sometimes, sections can be preserved or repaired because the foundation is there.

With jewelry, I know which pieces will yield the best results. Sometimes we can use the gold and sometimes we can’t. Some stones will never survive being unset and reset and some pieces are simply not worth the labor it would take to fix it.

These two pieces were simple and straightforward, and the gold was in good condition to re-melt and form into something new. 💖

Another very special engagement in so many ways. She fell in love with this curly-blonde-haired boy in eighth grade and here they are, still young lovebirds, planning their forever together! 🥹 I have known Bridger’s family since he was in diapers and Annamarie’s family for over a decade. These two families are so near and dear to me and I’m honored to have helped design this emerald cut diamond solitaire with a hidden halo in 14k yellow gold for the beautiful bride to be. Cheers to the future Mr and Mrs Jones. 💍💖👰🏻‍♀️

She said YES to an asscher cut with a hidden halo and European shank! I remember when this pretty young lady was my daughter’s age (6) coming into Studio 77 Gifts & Accessories to pick out jewelry with her mama and grandmother! It was so special helping her design her dream engagement ring! He said that had a class together in college and she wouldn’t give him the time of day! He finally got her attention! 😂 They are just precious and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness together. 😊💎💖

Saturday night, I had the absolute honor of adding some sparkle to a FABULOUS 40th birthday party!

The evening was beyond anything I could have imagined. The decor, the tablescape, the private chef and the beautifully dressed women were all spectacular. But what really left an impression on me were the friendships these women had cultivated.

25 women gathered around the birthday gal to celebrate HER. Some had been friends since birth, while others had come into her life during different seasons.

When I wasn’t busy zapping bracelets, I had the privilege of being a quiet observer, and what a special evening it was to witness.

The heartfelt toasts, the thoughtful gifts, the laughter and the absolutely gorgeous homemade cake. As beautiful as everything was, it was the genuine love and friendship in that room that made the evening so extraordinary.

What a gift to witness women celebrating women. I’m so grateful to have been a small part of such a special night. 💖
