Nicholas Ray, Designer Goldsmith Custom jewelry design and repair. He was promoted to the position of Head Goldsmith in 2005, and worked under Diana Kim England's employ for 11 years.

Nicholas Ray has over 10 years experience working with precious metals and gems, creating custom and unique designs by hand using traditional methods. Nicholas was introduced to jewelry making at age 17 at The Oxbow School in California during an art intensive semester in his Senior year of High School. Following his return to Nantucket, he enrolled in a jewelry making course directed by his school's art teacher and mentor, Ritch Leone. In the Spring of 2000, Nicholas began an apprenticeship under Diana Kim England, where he was introduced to custom jewelry design and production. To broaden his knowledge of fabrication and stone setting techniques, Nicholas attended and graduated from The Revere Academy in SanFrancisco in 2002. Nicholas Ray, Designer Goldsmith was founded in 2012. Today, he designs and creates in his home studio on Nantucket Island. You can find his unique and one of a kind jewelry on display at Susan Lister Locke, and Jewelers Gallery in downtown Nantucket.
