One of the things I’ve always wanted to make is a signet ring with my family crest on it. Earlier this year, I made this pinkie ring, hoping I’d be able to engrave some sort of pattern on it. Well - hand engraving is extremely difficult and I haven’t quite got the hang of it yet. But, I’m astonished how much detail I can get with the laser I recently invested in. This might be my favorite piece I’ve ever made!

A very good friend of mine gave me some of her silver work with. I made the jewelry she requested which she is gifting, but I had extra material left over. I had just gotten some faceted rubies to play with and she agreed to let me make her a ring with one of them. I made a few extra stackers to go along with it.

I’ve added a laser engraver to the arsenal! Here’s one of my first projects. This bracelet will be going to a friend’s Mom for Christmas. Feliz Navidad, Mami!

I was excited to spend some more time in the studio today. I had this Lapis lazuli cabochon in my stash and some extra domed sterling ring stock from a previous project. Super simple, super satisfying.
