Two for Joy Jewelry Jewelry with a story. Handmade in Maine. Life was an adventure! This is where I first discovered Bedouin jewelry. It was silver, beaded and bold.

Creating handmade heartfelt jewelry on the Island of Nantucket

I grew up in the 70's a child of wonderful, thoughtful & adventurous hippie parents who traveled through Europe, camping in random fields, in the back of a beat up, sky blue Landrover. We would spend months on the road and I would follow my mother into the Farmers markets in Europe & the Souks in North Africa. My mother wore these pieces with pride as well as unique and special jewelry from other places we traveled to. They weren't expensive items but they had style and told a story. Back at our campsites, I would collect rocks with my father and he would explain their special and individual qualities and benefits, revealing a whole world behind the stones to me. They were no longer just something pretty to look at but were believed to hold magical properties that could enhance the quality of your life. These childhood experiences have a strong influence in the jewelry I make. My desire is to create meaningful jewelry "of the Earth" that represents both spiritually and aesthetically what surrounds me. I craft my jewelry on the beautiful island of Nantucket and I am inspired by its beaches, moors, colors and the ebb and flow of the seasons. I make all the jewelry myself using fine silver and semi precious stones that I believe hold the magical properties I spoke of. My aim is to tell my story through unique jewelry that reflects the beauty around me and pays tribute to all things Natural and Good.

A little piece of artistry inspired by nature, this one-of-a-kind fine silver pendant features a beautiful, deep green dichroic glass cabochon accented by a tiny, sparkling lime gemstone.

The wonderfully organic texture began as an original hand-drawn design, transformed into a photopolymer plate, and then impressed into fine silver. Every delicate line and flowing detail captures the beauty of a design created entirely by hand.

The rich forest green of the cabochon contrasts beautifully with the luminous silver, while the tiny gemstone adds just a whisper of sparkle.

Suspended from an 18-inch double-strand sterling silver necklace, this pendant brings together texture, color, and a touch of woodland magic.

A little shimmer, a touch of mystery, and a beautiful meeting of old and new.

This one-of-a-kind pendant began its life as an antique silver-plated spoon, now transformed into a flowing, sculptural design. Accents of fine silver, textured with the fascinating pattern of stingray skin, add an unexpected touch of nature’s artistry.

Nestled at its center is a luminous 5mm Ethiopian opal, alive with flashes of brilliant green and soft blue that seem to dance and change with the light.

The contrast of the timeworn silver, intricate textures, and the opal’s magical play of color gives this piece an almost otherworldly quality.

A little piece of history, a little piece of nature, and just a hint of enchantment. 💚

Thank you, as always, for looking! Available this week at creative handmade marketplace link is in my bio.

A little bit of fire, light and magic captured in silver.

This one-of-a-kind ring was created entirely by hand in fine silver, from the original ring shank design to the setting itself. At its center rests a beautiful natural Ethiopian opal, alive with flashes of color that shift and change as the light moves across the stone.

Tiny sparkling faux diamonds surround the opal, adding just enough shimmer without taking attention away from the beautiful stone. The sculptural silver setting has an old-world, almost storybook quality, making this feel less like an ordinary ring and more like a tiny treasure discovered and carried home.

Unlike my antique flatware rings, every part of this piece was created by me in fine silver, making it truly one of a kind.

The Magpie’s Trove is officially open!

After months of working away behind the scenes, I’m so excited to share that the new Two for Joy Jewelry website is LIVE!

You’ll find one-of-a-kind jewelry created in fine silver, antique silver plate flatware given a new life, beautiful gemstones, and little treasures inspired by nature and the things I collect along the way.

This is the first of what I hope will be many small website drops, with new pieces finding their way into the Trove each month.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along, encouraged me, and supported my little jewelry business. It means so much!

Come have a look! ❤️

Tomorrow at NOON!

After months of making, photographing, writing, tinkering and getting everything just so, the Two for Joy Jewelry website officially goes live tomorrow at noon!

Here’s one last little sneak peek. These sweet fine silver earrings were hand carved with tiny ripples circling beautiful Ethiopian opals that seem to catch a different bit of color every time the light moves.

They’ll be part of the very first website drop, along with lots of pieces I’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes.

I’m excited, a little nervous, and mostly just so happy to finally share it all with you. Thank you for following along and cheering me on.

A little peek at what’s coming…

I’ve been spending lots of early mornings at my bench lately, getting ready for the launch of my new Two for Joy Jewelry website on October 1. This is a new piece I’ve made recently, and will be be part of the first collection waiting there.

Just two more days! I’m getting excited, and maybe a little nervous too.

I’ve been working on something behind the scenes for quite a while, and I can finally share it!

The new Two for Joy Jewelry website is almost here.

Beginning October 1, you’ll be able to shop my one-of-a-kind jewelry online, including new pieces I’ve been quietly working away on in the studio.

I’ll be doing small website drops, so there will always be something new making its way into the Magpie’s Trove.

I’m so excited to finally have a little online home for Two for Joy Jewelry, and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been making.

October 1! ❤️
