We are Brandon and Samantha, a husband and wife from Rhode Island. We transform ordinary rocks (both beach rocks and semi precious stones) into one of a kind jewelry for rockhounds, beachcombers, and anyone who can’t walk past a good stone without picking it up. Brandon is the artist and Samantha helps with preparatory work and manages the social media. RockYouWear started around 15 years ago when Brandon was trying to find a necklace for himself. He wanted something original, something that felt natural and meaningful. When he couldn’t find it, he made it. Using a rock he collected from a Rhode Island beach, he carved his first pendant, a shark design. After getting a lot of compliments, he kept going. That’s when the Etsy shop was born. Brandon grew up minutes from some of Rhode Island’s most popular beaches. He still spends time walking them, searching for stones and drawing inspiration from what he finds.
