It’s a beautiful drive that takes you beyond the honky-tonks and gives you a little taste of Tennessee. And trust me, the biscuits are worth the trip! 🤍

A very special shoutout today to one of Nashville’s greatest independent retail stores, AshBlue, as they celebrate 23 incredible years in business! ❤️ AshBlue

I started working at AshBlue after college, and it became one of the most influential jobs I’ve ever had. It’s where I developed my deep love for gemstones, which eventually led me to jewelry making, and where I truly fell in love with independent retail and small business.

I spent almost nine years there, and I will always have so much admiration and gratitude for the owners and for everything I learned during that chapter of my life.

And I’ll never forget designing the new shop in Green Hills, Turkish T | Luxury Artisan Textiles going viral on Goop and all of our pop-up shops at the Hampton Classic horse show — staying in the tiniest spaces you could possibly imagine, working crazy hours, and occasionally feeling like we were living in the twilight zone. 😂 But those experiences are also when we really became family.

Seriously, I love you all for life. I am so incredibly proud of the business you’ve built, and AshBlue will always be a true inspiration to me and a big part of the reason I’m doing what I do today.

Congratulations on 23 years! What an accomplishment. ❤️
