Things that brought me joy this week:
✨an amazing thrift haul
✨playing at with my boys
✨watching all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks play outside my windows (but I did not enjoy seeing a snake on my porch 😅)
✨lighting a candle in the middle of the day. Shout out to for helping me make a candle with my new signature summer scent
✨I signed up my son for our library’s summer reading challenge and saw they had one for adults. I joined because I need to read more instead of scrolling and to show my boys adults read for fun too.
✨sent my floral moon necklace off to a new (famous) home

What brought you joy and a little bit of whimsy this week?

After going from being a full time artist to stay at home mom of 2 with little time to create, I realized how imperative making things was for my mental health. 🤪

Each week I’m bringing you a list of things that brought me joy.

✨ I’m obsessed with my new ! I dropped one of the dangles at an event and someone picked it up and said “did you lose an earring?” I said “that’s my shoe earring!”

Consistency is not my strong suit 😅 but you’re going to keep me accountable, okay?

I finished a paint by numbers earlier this year but I wasn’t quite happy with the finished product so I painted in my own details. Now the swan feels a bit more my style. I have a few paintings I started years ago but never finished that I think I’ll work on next.
