Black Dermographism is the result of gold particles rubbing off on your skin.
It is not related to hormones, diet, chemicals, allergies, etc.
All those are popular myths, but completely wrong.
When gold is at the molecular size, it does not reflect light and look like gold. It just looks dark.
When you use starch in your clothes, the little bit of abrasion will have gold rubbing off.
So when you wear your gold chain against your white blouse, and it suddenly has black smudge everywhere that the gold chain was, relax. It rinses right out.
When you use lotion, it contains abrasives. So using hand lotion is going to get you dermographism.
Again it rinses right off.
Prevention involves not using lotions, nail polish inside your ring, even rhodium plating will work too.
Just know that it’s not chemical, hormonal, diet, or allergy related.
