Roxanne Kelly Broom was born and raised in Astley Village, Lancashire, North West England. Following her step-father's job transfer to the US, Roxy began attending Northside High School; which is where she met her close friend and future business partner Tricia Rousis. In 2010, Roxy & Tricia decided to make their combined interest for jewelry design into a joint business effort. Originally called
"Stella Jewelry", their fashion accessories expanded to several stores throughout Southwest Virginia as well as online. Upon moving to Chicago with her fiance, Tricia decided to retire from their business. After much consideration and discussion, the decision was made to re-brand and "Roxanne Kelly" was born. Roxy has vast retail management experience, including Victoria's Secret, Ulta Beauty and Francesca's. Taking her mother's lead (Gwenda Kellett, owner & operator of The Bird Cage), Roxanne Kelly Designs will offer unique styles in limited quantity.
