Since 1881, The House of Stones has been a family & independently owned jewelry store on the square in downtown New Philadelphia. Rodriguez’s House of Stones offers everything you would want from a world class jewelry store andhave been dedicated to customer service for over 125 years. Our diamonds are the finest crafted diamonds in the world, hand selected in Antwerp Belgium , and we have the technology to prove it. In addition to a unique collection of gemstones and fine jewelry, several of our designs have won national and international awards. We have a full service on-site shop with two full time jewelers utilizing the latest advanced technology capable of anything from cleaning and polishing your jewelry, restoring your precious family heirlooms, to creating unique one of a kind pieces of jewelry. An awards and recognition department currently provides recognition programs to major corporations and non-profit organizations in the area.

Part-Time Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

As we continue to grow, House of Stones & Julz by Alan Rodriguez are looking to add a creative, organized, and motivated person to our team who will help shape the marketing presence of both stores.

We’re looking for someone who can get to know who we are — our history, our customers, our culture, and what makes each store special — and translate that into thoughtful, consistent marketing.
The position will include:

• Managing and creating content for our social media platforms
• Photography and video of jewelry, custom designs, events, and store happenings
• Creating a monthly marketing and social media calendar
• Helping develop a 12-month marketing plan for holidays, events, bridal seasons, promotions, and campaigns
• Creating email marketing through Constant Contact
• Assisting with website updates and development
• Bringing fresh, creative ideas to how we market both stores

We’re looking for someone who is creative but also organized — someone with a great eye, strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to take an idea and run with it.

Experience in social media, marketing, photography/video, graphic design, or website management is a plus. Jewelry experience is not necessary — understanding our brands and learning our culture is.

This is a part-time position working with both House of Stones in New Philadelphia and Julz by Alan Rodriguez in Canton.
