Rutheny Jewelry Jennifer Rutheny uses the ancient art of lost wax casting. Each piece begins as a hand-carved wax sculpture, before being cast in precious metal.

Her process is a blend of artistry and precision, as she attempts to bring nature’s elegance into her work. Rutheny Jewelry has three boutique locations:

Amy Adams in Cape Fear on Apple TV+ is wearing my hand-carved lily of the valley necklace — and I am still pinching myself.

This piece took shape in my Hudson Valley studio, carved in wax at half an inch, cast in sterling silver. Every tiny bell, every curving stem. I had no idea it would end up around her neck on screen.
