A few days in India to close out the trip before heading back to NYC!

A big part of the India stop was a visit to Bharat Diamond Bourse (aka the heart of the world’s diamond trade) to checkout our operations in Mumbai. Here we spent time between checking out parcels of freshly cut diamonds and deciding between designs to craft for our next collection.

The rest of the trip was spent in Surat with family, more good food and of course more exploring. Not a bad way to spend a few weeks for work🩵

Three weeks. Three countries. One very full camera roll. 🌏

Part 1 🇹🇭🇭🇰

After 20+ hours of travel Chase & Manav’s three week journey began in Bangkok before heading over to Hong Kong. The main event of these stops was to attend some of the world’s biggest gemstone trade shows. Many hours were spent looking at new stones, exploring new tools, asking questions, networking + finding new ideas (and maybe some objects 👀) to bring back to Víya.

Outside of the shows was a much welcomed change of pace + scenery from NYC— full of exploring, eating, meeting locals + taking in the everyday side of Bangkok + Hong Kong.

A proposal in front of the very columns that inspired the design 🤍🌧️🏛️💍

We had the honor of designing the engagement ring for some lawyer friends of ours recently, and we knew we wanted to make it really special…

Knowing she had loved our previous column-inspired ring, and after getting to know the places that shaped their story together, we designed her ring after a specific NYC courthouse.

There’s truly no better feeling than being a part of moments like this (especially when the newly engaged couple walks into their surprise party and you’re the first person they run over to hug) 🥹🤍
