Our latest (and serendipitous) custom creation. This client and I met at a meditation class where I was the student and he, the instructor. At the end of the class, we struck up a conversation where I mentioned I was a jewelry designer to which he replied that he’d had an idea for a ring for a long time, but didn’t know who to take it to… and so our project began.
The design of this signet was inspired by a charm he already owned, which he wanted to reimagine as a gold ring he could wear every day. Incorporating an emerald was important to him, so we chose a marquise cut to echo the body of the bird within the motif.
What really elevates this piece is the finishing. A soft matte polish along the sides gives it that subtle, luxe feel, while high-shine accents bring dimension and highlight key details across the face of the signet.
The end result is magnificent and feels really elevated for every day wear. I’m really pleased with how this one came out and glad this encounter brought this beautiful idea to life. ✨
