“Metallic halos were hand-hammered in silver and bronze, circling the necklines of minimal Silk dresses, partly suspended. The natural elements were immortalized through electroplating: real flowers and leaves were coated, creating one-ot-a-kind works of art by a close collaborator of the brand, Barcelona-based jewelry designer Alba Navarro of ANH Studio.”

During the holidays, the pieces we designed together with creative director for were exhibited at the , alongside a selection of 11 contemporary female artists whose work I deeply admire, as well as pieces by great Catalan masters, being displayed between a Picasso and a MirĂł is kind of cool!

This is one of those posts I write so that when I start doubting my path, I can look back and remember the surprises life brings when you’re stubborn enough to chase your dreams and brave enough to face your fears.

During the holidays, the pieces we designed together with creative director for were exhibited at the , alongside a selection of 11 contemporary female artists whose work I deeply admire, as well as pieces by great Catalan masters, being displayed between a Picasso and a MirĂł is kind of cool!

This is one of those posts I write so that when I start doubting my path, I can look back and remember the surprises life brings when you’re stubborn enough to chase your dreams and brave enough to face your fears.

Each season I create several designs under Frances Howie’s guidance, but I never know which ones will be chosen until about a week before. It was an incredible moment to learn that stylist chose to complement ’s ingenious and sophisticated dress—crafted from a single piece of fabric, inspired by the effortless gesture of wrapping a towel after the sea—with a necklace I designed and handcrafted using the horsehair of twenty violin bows.

But when I arrived backstage, the surprise was even greater, was the one to present Look 22 wearing that necklace. I couldn’t hold back my joy—I was the one wide-eyed, watching her grace the runway.
