A Georgian diamond heart from the 1820s. Imagine being the lucky recipient! ❤️
Long before Victorian romance, the Georgians were already wearing their hearts!

Heart-shaped jewels were treasured symbols of love and affection, and a diamond-set example like this was a true luxury.

Handcrafted around 1820–1830, with beautifully irregular rose-cut diamonds, and surviving in exceptional condition!
Almost 200 years later, I can't stop admiring it.

Nearly 150 years old, and still a brooch! As much as I love preserving antique jewelry, I can't help imagining it as a pendant or even a ring.

Some antique jewels are much harder to replace than others. My last Victorian diamond heart sold almost immediately.
This is the beauty and the trouble with antique jewelry?
You can't just order another one.
Even with all my connections, I spent 18 months searching for another authentic Victorian diamond heart.
And here she is. ❤️
Wouldn't count on finding her twice.
A little smaller, a little different, and every bit as charming. ❤️
