Margeaux has an idea, and she is ready to execute it. She is forming a non profit organization, that trains inner city youth to learn the skills of becoming a couturier. She is deeply concerned about the impending wealth gap caused by AI and wants to create a safety net for them. Hazel has tried to persuade Margeaux against this idea, because of it’s obvious tone deafness and bad optics, but to no avail. She has hired the “top million dollar real estate guru”, Jameson Tinker, to bring her vision into fruition.

I literally almost cried watching the catastrophe of this administration yesterday, denigrating Michelle Obama and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial in one swoop yesterday.. the fact that a sitting President would actively be ok, publicly humiliating a past President and his wife, Michelle Obama but also use the Military in this insanity is CRAZY.. and somehow we keep sinking to lower lower lows. Some pics of the screenings in NYC and LA of Reclaim the Flag, a short documentary I directed and co-produced with the amazing Bruce Cohen, partnering with Human Rights Campaign.
On this Flag Day.. (which honestly I never even knew there was such a thing as “Flag Day” until last year).. I want everyone to think long and hard about how they feel about the American Flag.. once you go through that rubik’s cube of a process..think about what you can do for this Country to shape it in the direction, so you can be proud of the American Flag and the Country.. it will take everyone to chip in to make the Flag something we are proud of.. first step.. we need to fight our asses off to save Democracy..VOTE!

Flag day is tomorrow..And we launched a National screening of the documentary Bruce Cohen and I created, Reclaim the Flag. Mayor Zohran Mamdani gave a speech to discuss the film and the movement that is underway. Whether you always felt marginalized by this country or whether you felt the American Flag was coopted, now is the time for us to Reclaim the Flag. The American Flag is a symbol of ideals of the Constitution and unification of our Country which we can mostly agree, those ideals were never realized. That does not mean we give up. We want to own being American and keep fighting for the true definition of Democracy.
