Sometimes I wonder if the artists who made the music I grew up on have any idea how many lives they’ve changed. How many people they’ve gotten through another day without ever knowing their names.

I’ve spent so much of my life finding comfort in other people’s art. And the fact that something I’ve created with my own two hands has now found its way to some of those very people is something I don’t think I’ll ever fully wrap my head around.

It’s not about who knows my name or who wears my jewelry. It’s about the little girl who found a home in music when the world felt like too much. The teenager who memorized every lyric. And the woman who eventually found her way back to herself.

I think she’d be really fu***ng proud of us.

Music is such a beautiful thing. And I’ll never stop being grateful for the people who make it. 🖤
