We’re giving basic socks a little Prada-inspired makeover, because why should socks be boring?
I experimented with embroidery, tiny beaded flowers, and sewn-on rosettes, but ultimately the sequins won. And honestly, are we surprised? My obsession with sparkle continues.

The psychology of getting dressed is REAL. There’s an actual psychological phenomenon called enclothed cognition, which explores how the clothes we wear can influence the way we think, feel, and behave. And I’ve always believed that getting dressed is about so much more than vanity or consumption. It’s about identity, self-expression, confidence, and how we choose to move through the world.
Because whether we like it or not, how we present ourselves can influence how others perceive us, the interactions we have, and sometimes even the opportunities that come our way.
So why wouldn’t we use that knowledge to our advantage?
Getting dressed isn’t frivolous. It’s powerful. And I think we do fashion a tremendous disservice when we pretend otherwise.

Studio news lately: more color, more texture, more FUN. We’ve been back and forth to the NYC Garment District developing new handmade bags, sourcing fabrics and trims, and finishing the newest Sirens—including three new colorways (and apparently everyone’s favorite, Phoebe). Coming off the Paris runways, I’m feeling very more is more: jacquard, brocade, beading, fringe, embroidery, transparent layers, unexpected color and print mixing. Less about copying trends, more about taking the ideas we love and making them our own. Vintage finds, Couch Crafts, new Sirens—and next, it’s about to get very sparkly around here.

Super beginner friendly embellished skirt. Sometimes the coolest thing in your closet is already there—it just needs a little ✨razzle dazzle ✨.

I took an old black skirt, ordered some beads, created my own motif and started embellishing. That’s it. No new wardrobe required.

Make it weird. Add the beads. Play with your clothes. Make something nobody else has. 🖤
