The Bella rivière! Available in two sizes, the small Bella rivière is one of our best sellers. Forty-five rose-cut stones are carefully set in Georgian-inspired collet settings, creating a small river of stones that flows around the neck. Just as a Georgian woman would have aspired to include a rivière in her jewelry coffer, women today continue to adore the beauty and versatility of this timeless silhouette. What has changed?

Today we love to layer several at a time, not a trend that was popular two hundred years ago, but maybe it should have been.

The larger Bella Graduated rivière reimagines our best selling silhouette with larger, foiled rose-cut stones in the same antique-inspired, exaggerated collet settings.

Ciao Bella! This button-style earring is known for its lovely rose-cut stone that is framed by an exaggerated Georgian collet setting. Waistcoat buttons came in all shapes and sizes in the Georgian period, and this cushion-shape would have been so handsome on a rich textile suit.

The range of foils we used in our Bella collection are right out of a color wheel: Petit Four Pink, Spruce, Ice Blue, White, Sancerre, Scarlett and Cognac. The foils are hand cut and hand set behind the white or purple quartz stones in a sterling silver setting finished with a gold or black rhodium wash and 14k gold ear wires.

New neighborhood, same sparkle.

Saying goodbye to NoHo after eleven wonderful years is bittersweet, but I am thrilled to announce that Larkspur & Hawk’s next chapter is unfolding on the Upper East Side.

Our safes have officially arrived, which means the countdown is on. I am not quite ready to reveal the details just yet, but I promise it will be worth the wait. Xx Emily

My husband Jim sees the world in details.

To the untrained eye, it looked like a dirty gold and diamond ring displayed on what appeared to be a cookie sheet. To Jim, there were design elements, a specific architectural pavé dome and a reeded shank, that suggested it might be attributed to the House of Boivin.

While most would have scrolled past the grainy, haphazard listing, Jim stopped. What followed was a nine-month covert operation: from deep archival research to a meeting with the Torroni family in New York to verify a design the archivist had only ever seen on paper.

This 35th anniversary gift was a reminder of the art of the hunt and the importance of looking where others do not.
