Wasserman Jewel Galleries is at it again! This time our very own Chris Holland is running the NYC Marathon as a member of the YMCA Charity Team! As your know, the Y is near and dear to my heart. We are proud to send Chris to the Starting Line to help support the YMCA's mission to help underprivileged children. Please help us get him to the Finish Line!

I grew up at the Livingston Y in New Jersey, and I will always cherish the memories my brother and I made there. More importantly, the Y gave us something that has stayed with us long after those childhood years—a safe, supportive environment and the developmental tools we needed to grow into the men we are today.
It was at the Y that I learned to swim and first developed an appreciation for health and fitness. Those early experiences became a foundation that has continued throughout my life, ultimately helping me accomplish things I never imagined as a child, including running a marathon! Looking back, I realize how much those seemingly simple opportunities at the Y helped shape who I am.
That is why the YMCA's mission means so much to me. Every child deserves a safe place where they can learn, grow, build confidence, discover their potential, and simply be themselves. The opportunity to help provide that kind of environment for the next generation is something I feel very strongly about, and it would be an honor to do my part to help carry that mission forward.
I have been fortunate to support Y fundraisers in the past, but this time feels particularly meaningful to me. Having experienced firsthand what the Y can provide to a child, I would be incredibly proud to carry the torch and help ensure that other children have the same opportunity to grow, thrive, and create memories that stay with them for a lifetime.
