THE COLLECTION
Elke Van D**e Design is hand forged sterling silver, solid gold, gold fill and mixed metal jewelry inspired from the symbiotic, beautiful and sometimes devastating relationship between nature and industry. Elegant, modern, and edgy, each design seeks to redefine the purpose of the “statement piece” by offering limited edition wearable art that tells the story of the organic relation

ship between nature and man. THE MATERIALS
Each collection incorporates a fusion of metal-smithing and oxidization techniques of sterling silver, solid 14K gold and rose gold, copper and 14K rose gold and gold-fill. Through her travels, Elke has forged personal relationships with small, fair-trade, family-run businesses to source metal and handpick stones from their natural regions. Elke Van D**e Design uses recycled metals as often as possible and wholly supports mindfulness of the environment and the legacy we leave behind. THE ARTIST
Elke Van D**e, designer, theatre professional and environmentalist, specializes in the creation of handmade jewelry collections for a greater consciousness. Each piece is individually handcrafted in Elke's studio in New York City. In addition to creating limited edition and one-of-a-kind jewelry, Elke works extensively with clients on custom bespoke projects.

A few months ago, mutual friends insisted that Henri and Tom of Maison 10 and I needed to meet… and they could not have been more right.

What started as an impromptu evening of wine, conversation, art and connection has now turned into a collaboration I’m genuinely so excited to share.

I’m honored to announce that I am a featured artist in MAISON 10’s Cycle 38: “Celebration” - a 10-week curated exhibition bringing together artists, designers and makers across disciplines into one evolving immersive space in New York City.

This also marks my first NYC gallery opening featuring my work, which makes this moment feel especially meaningful.

Join us this Sunday, May 31st from 2–6pm. I’ll be there from around 3–6pm sipping wine, mingling and celebrating this incredible new cycle of artists ✨

All of my 80’s Back to the Future dreams came true yesterday ✨

Lea Thompson visited my booth and chose the Small 45rpm Heart Adaptor Necklace along with two pairs of earrings for an upcoming film set in the East Village NYC punk scene.

The 45rpm Heart Adaptor Pendant was born from music, movement, memory and analog nostalgia… so watching it head into a downtown NYC music-driven story world feels wildly perfect.

There’s something incredibly special about watching pieces born at my bench in NYC resonate with artists and storytellers I’ve admired for decades.

One of those wonderfully surreal New York moments… and yes, I’m still smiling from ear to ear.

Come shop for one-of-a-kind gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, weddings or just for yourself. Find handmade original fashions, accessories, and jewelry; functional and sculptural works in ceramics, glass, metal, fiber, wood and mixed media; and fine art painting, printmaking, drawing and photography. The 45rpm Heart Adaptor Pendant - born from rhythm, movement and memory… to meeting Perry’s lens on the playa.

Metal and image. Object and environment. Two different mediums, same frequency.

That’s what this night at Worthmore Jewelers Atlanta was…not just a showing, but a synthesis of art, energy and community, made possible by Geri, Harris and a kick ass team who know how to bring people together.

So grateful to be part of it and see these pieces take on new meaning here.

Seeing the work out in the world… catching light, moving through space, becoming part of someone else’s story - now featured at Worthmore Jewelers Atlanta, with pieces in both their Midtown and Decatur locations.

What makes this one so very special is the people! Geri, Harris, and their fun-loving team have built a true community over the past couple of decades… one where you’re welcomed in and guided with intention to discover the pieces that feel like you. They make everything feel effortless.

They build wishlists with you… thoughtful, intuitive - a little like those old New York department store moments, when someone just knew what would make you shine.
