Abbraccio in Italian means hug or embrace. On either side of this asscher cut cornflower blue sapphire are abstract figures that I felt suggested small bodies in a hug. While not intentionally designed to represent hugs, we could all use some support, hugs and love right about now❤️

Back in February, M reached out to me about creating an engagement ring for his love, N. It’s always an incredible honor to make a piece that symbolizes a couple’s love and commitment but this one felt extra full circle.

I met N seven years ago at a wedding for a dear friend of ours. We were seated at the same table, bonded instantly over our love of jewelry, and have stayed connected ever since. Over the years, N has entrusted me with reimagining her family heirlooms, and now she has one of her own to pass down.
