A customer selected a 2ct oval as a center but could not decide on side stones. He is not local and could not come see the stones so I created this comparison image. Oval vs round side stones ranging from 1/2ct to 1ct each. Is this useful or too much information?

This stunning 2.5ct emerald cut is flanked by step-cut trapezoids. The ring is designed for a flush fitting wedding band. I have been creating rings with both natural and lab grown diamonds. In this case my client wanted a natural center stone but the design he wanted did not quite fit the budget. We opted to save substantially on the cost by choosing lab grown side stones.
What do you think of mixing natural and LG?

First post in a long while. We just added this new wedding band to our lineup. I’m tempted to call it a “low dome” band but am open to suggestions.
Many of you have commented to me in person that I need to post more often. Let me know you’re watching by liking and sharing once in a while. 🙂
