She Doesn’t Know It Yet… 😲

I started Knockout because I was tired of that uneasy feeling. You know the one: the quick glance over your shoulder, the keys clutched between your fingers, the what-ifs running through your mind.

I didn’t want fear to be part of my everyday routine anymore.

So I made something that helped me, and now helps women everywhere feel safer and confident.

What started as a few silver rings for me and my friends turned into a full collection of wearable safety tools that actually fit your life and your style.

Because protecting yourself shouldn’t feel heavy or harsh… it should feel empowering.

And if I can help even one woman walk a little taller and breathe a little easier, that’s what makes it all worth it.

Follow along - I’m just getting started!

15 Safety Habits Every Woman Should Know ⭐

1️⃣ Keep your alarm visible, not buried.
Clip that Knockout alarm to your keys or bag strap. Just seeing it out there makes people think twice.

2️⃣ Replace your pepper spray every 3-4 years.
Check that expiration date printed on the rim of your spray canister. Make sure you’re carrying a potent, pressurized spray with you.

3️⃣ Practice pulling your alarm once a month.
Do a little “ready check” at home with your alarm. Muscle memory is everything, trust me, you want it automatic, not panicked. And it’s a reminder to charge the battery.

4️⃣ Walk with your phone in video mode.
Feeling weird? Face the camera forward and record. Even just having it on makes you feel safer and lets you react faster.

5️⃣ Share your live location for temporary trips.
Whether it’s a date, an Uber, or a run, send your location to a friend until you’re home.

6️⃣ Use reflective gear and a safety device when running at night.
Pair your reflective vest with your Knockout alarm or pepper spray. Light yourself up, stay protected, be smart.

7️⃣ Keep your self-defense ring pointed up during “transition times.”
Parking lots, elevators, hallways, those in-between spaces. Keep the sharp point facing up until you feel safe again.

8️⃣ Build a “safe arrival” habit with your circle.
Start a group chat where everyone texts “home safe” after a date or night out. Quick, simple, and it builds accountability.

The Ugly Part of Hot Girl Walks No One Talks About 🫢

Next time you’re going for a solo walk, remember these 5 tips:

1️⃣SCAN
Before your walk, scan for parked cars, sketchy people, and potential blind spots.

2️⃣CARS
If a car slows near you, change direction or go into a local business. Call someone if you can’t find a business or other safe place to go.

3️⃣EARBUDS
Wear one ear bud so you can listen carefully to identify what’s around you without becoming distracted by your playlist. Your awareness is your first layer of protection.

4️⃣QUIET ≠ SAFE
Avoid routes that feel super isolated even if they’re convenient. Quiet can be peaceful, but your safety comes first.

5️⃣TURN
Always look back confidently. It signals awareness and deters anyone hoping you’re distracted.

Our Story, from Kate Davis, Founder

We’ve all been there – you’re walking to your car late at night. You’re on a run. You can’t shake that gut feeling. I want you to get where you’re going with confidence. Every Knockout ring has an edge for style and strength.

As a New Yorker and a woman, I’ve felt nervous or unsafe more times than I can count. Keys between my fingers weren’t doing the trick for my style, so I decided to make something better. In 2016, after learning how to carve rings in wax, I created the subtle and sharp Total Knockout (TKO).

I started Knockout in my apartment at 25 with no experience making jewelry or running a business. My background is in arts administration, so design and aesthetics are central to Knockout’s ethos.

Sleek when you want them to be, sharp if you need them to be, Knockout rings are a conversation starter and stopper.
