I'm a New York Jewelry Designer who has been creating jewelry since childhood. In 2014 I decided to launch my own collection and focus on my own brand of Fine Jewelry. In an effort to connect with a broader audience and promote brand awareness I've included messaging on some of my pieces. The Julie Lamb brand stands for individuality and encourages the wearer to 'Stand Out', 'Be Herd', 'Rock Your
Flock', & 'Be Ewe'. The messages are cheeky but personal, and meant to be empowering over all. The Lamb tells a great story and is chock full of symbolism I play off of in my work, most notably- 'The Black Sheep'. Using black rhodium and diamonds the character is transformed to the dark side and speaks to all of us who prefer to live just outside the lines. The dynamic between the Black Sheep and White speaks directly to our core personalities and is highly relatable. Are you mainstream, in white? If you are you can still 'Stand Out' from the herd by highlighting the attributes, talents and special features you choose to define you. Are you the black sheep? You don't care what the crowd is doing, you march to your own beat, you live outside the box. Be encouraged to 'Be Ewe' & 'Be Herd'!
