They just don’t make dress watches like this anymore. 🔥⌚

There’s something so cool about a slim vintage dress watch peeking out from under a perfectly cuffed shirt.

This beautiful Audemars Piguet has serious old-school charm. It gives me major Patek Philippe Calatrava vibes, from the elegant gold case to the gorgeous dial, applied markers, and understated design.

Even cooler? The back is engraved from 1972, when it was originally gifted in Illinois. Over 50 years of history on the wrist!

These smaller, classic dress watches don’t get nearly enough love today. Personally, I think they deserve a comeback.

We get to see some pretty amazing things when we’re out visiting local pawn shops and jewelry buyers!

This time, we brought Bryce, our behind-the-scenes cameraman, along to capture a real transaction in action.

A big part of our business is building relationships with shops that buy from the public. Sometimes we stop in to see what’s fresh, and other times they call us when they’ve picked up something special they want to flip.

You never know what treasures are waiting behind the counter. That’s what makes this business so much fun!
