The new Awake Son Mai Frosted Leaf “Storm” has arrived at Grenon’s! What a spectacular dial that is hard to capture in photos. The radiant orange sections contrast beautifully with the black. If you don’t want anybody to notice your watch, this is not the watch for you! Each dial takes 15 hours to make so these cannot be mass produced. Bravo to the team at Awake Watches for making another stunner! 38mm steel case and powered by the excellent La Joux Perret G101 with 68 hour power reserve.

Regardless of all of our varying opinions on different world topics, we can all agree that the events of 9-11 happened because of hate. Let’s stop bickering for one day. NEW ARRIVAL! Grenons of Newport is thrilled to announce that we are now dealers for 1776 Atelier! When they first got started, I was already attracted to their made in the US story and their impressive details for a young brand. I bought one for myself right away and kept in touch as they have made very impressive strides in their short history. The pieces they are making now are absolutely top notch. You will see some of the exquisite details in the photos, but they really must be appreciated in person to see how much is done by hand, the same way the traditional masters did it. Design and assembly is done in-house and they are proud to be even making own movements right here in the USA. Keep an eye on this company, this is just the beginning!
