What a wonderful and meaningful evening at Karma Fine Crafts in Belmont!

We were so grateful to welcome Dr. Tenzin Dawa Lokyitsang back to our community for a thoughtful conversation about kinship, identity, education, and the Tibetan experience in exile.

A heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Tenzin Dawa Lokyitsang and everyone who joined us, listened, asked questions, and contributed to such an engaging evening.
At Karma, we hope to continue creating a space where people come together not only to appreciate art and culture but also to learn from one another, build friendships, and strengthen our sense of community.
Thank you for being part of this journey! ❤️

Making Tibetan dumplings after a long time was inspired by my wonderful cousin in Paris, a working mother of two who is talented at multitasking and prepares delicious food. Seeing her do it inspired me to try, and I succeeded. Making momos by myself was a joyful experience. I think I could improve them next time by using different ingredients, but they were delicious. I shared them with my brother and children, and I’m enjoying them for lunch today, too. Truly a labor of love—and a happy hubby, happy tummy.

Celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day! ❤️
What a beautiful day to come together with family and community worldwide to celebrate the richness of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and the many contributions that continue to shape our world.

Every culture carries its own stories, wisdom, and unique traditions. Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, celebrate, and appreciate the Indigenous communities whose living traditions continue to inspire generations.

Grateful to share this special day with family, friends, and community! 🌿
