But October also of course means... OPALS!!

And one of our favorite varieties are the rare Louisiana opals. These unassuming stones may look like humble sandstone at first glance, but catch them at the right angle and they light up with electric blues, neon turquoise, and ultra-violet fire! We sent off a set we acquired to our friends and opal experts at Parle Jewelry Designs to mount them up for us. The biggest of the set paired perfectly with a tanzanite for this show-stopping pendant.

Listen to our favorites from Patsy Cline, Tony Bennett, Shirley Bassey, ABBA, The Supremes, Adele; it's has a little of everything with a soft jazzy vibe.

While the two of them are out, though, the showroom will be little more sparse in what's put out, but we will be open for repair pick ups and patient drop offs until they return on Wednesday!
