Hello, my names Richard, I’m one of the owners here at Northwood Antiques, between my husband (Shawn Laliberte) and I, we dedicate a ton of time, work and patience to our business, so we can provide the public with a constant flow of merchandise for you to shop for. Over the years we have decided that offering a public restroom isn’t anything but expensive and disgusting, due to the public’s complete lack of respect. So we do NOT offer restrooms freely to the public anymore. This behavior has now extended to the parking lot and the rest of the outside property. Today someone decided to defecate in my parking spot. And left the underwear used to wipe. Yesterday, someone left a used female personal item wrapped in paper towel in the parking lot. Last month we needed to add extra pad locks to our storage rooms in the basement, due to someone defecating and urinating on the floor and in a vase. This behavior is vile, and whoever is responsible should be ashamed of themselves. The NO BATHTOOM is posted on our front door before you walk in, so if you aren’t feeling well, or need to go, you are made aware before entering. I know this post probably won’t solve anything. But here it is. Just know we’re paying attention. 👀
