As a child, my sister and I were all about Barbie dolls. Foods were as important of our collections as the dolls were. My mother also collected special glass minis from a local store for us. When I discovered polymer minis, it became sweet nostalgia. I stumbled upon mini polymer foods about a year ago from sheer boredom and browsing on etsy, where

I had had my illustration shoppe for over a year (www.illustrationsalamode.etsy.com), and now my clothing brand (www.gildedeccentric.etsy.com). I was so inspired by the delicate detailing and care the artists put into such sweet, tiny sculptures, I bought some clay and vowed to find time to try. Now a year later, I've moved and switched fully to freelance, which allowed time to discover my new passion. I found my purchased box of clay int he garage, grabbed some additional materials, and started baking : )
