She’s a Dora Mae Original with three square step-cut peridots set in 14k yellow gold. The green looks so bright and fresh against the yellow gold, and those rounded settings give her the sweetest shape.

Gold Ring Stack | Available Online + In-Studio ✨

Some ring stacks come together all at once, and others are collected over time. A birthday gift here, a celebration there, or simply a ring you fell in love with and had to have! 💛

I LOVE mixing different textures and widths, and this stack shows it off so well. Corrine brings her natural baguette diamond, with Britt’s sweet little gold beads tucked right next to her. Ollie adds those alternating bezel-set natural diamonds, and then there’s Daphne, with her wide gold band and scattered diamonds. She looks so good next to the thinner bands.

You can keep mixing and matching until it feels like yours.

“Who adds turquoise to their wedding ring?”

Leah’s boys asked her that when they saw the redesign, and she had her answer ready: “Your mom, that’s who.” 🤭

The diamond at the center is the same one Mark proposed with, the stone that marked the beginning of their marriage “before four boys, before four moves, before all the life we lived since.” Leah told us the years since have added layers... motherhood, new places, and interests she didn’t know she had, like painting, gardening, creating homes, and quilting (followed by immediately quitting quilting). “Each season has had its own shape,” she said, “some softer, some with more edges, and all of them part of our story.”

So we kept her beginning right where it’s always been and built the shapes and colors of that life around it, turquoise included. In her words, it holds “both the girl I was when Mark proposed and the woman I’ve become.”

I love this about wedding ring redesigns. You chose your ring as one version of yourself, and years later you’re allowed to have become someone new. The stone that started it all can stay at the center while the ring grows up with you.

Maybe there’s a ring pinned on your Pinterest board right now, plus a style or two you’ve already decided isn’t you without ever trying it on. We’d love for you to try on both. 💍

We chose our engagement rings with a lot of different people in mind because there isn’t one kind of person who walks into our studio. Some of you will fall for the vintage pieces, especially the ones with all that personality and history still intact. Others will feel completely at home in a Dora Mae Original, our modern take on vintage where an old stone might find its way into a brand new setting or a familiar shape gets a little edge. We have natural and lab-grown diamonds too, because we just want you to have options and see what fits who you are today.

More than anything, we want you to feel comfortable here, so take your time. Sometimes you really don’t know until it’s on your hand.

And if your partner wants it to be a surprise, we’re here for them too! We’ll get to know you through them and help find something that feels like you, whether it’s already in our studio or something we create custom.

Every diamond and emerald she brought in is somewhere in this ring!!

Her heirlooms came to us as separate pieces, and she wanted one organic statement ring that could hold all of them. Swipe through to see how the design wraps around the finger. It has so much movement, but it sits low enough that she can wear it every day.

My favorite detail is one you’d never see from the outside. The inscription from her original ring is still there on the inside of the band. 🥹

She told us she wanted an organic statement ring, and over the years I’ve learned to always ask what that means to you before we start designing. 🤭

Sometimes organic just means a soft curve in the bezel, and sometimes it means super curly and swirly with lots of movement. Statement means something different to everyone too. So we always give at least one classic option, then a few that lean into the idea, from a little flowy to really flowy... and she wanted really flowy!

She brought in her heirlooms, with all of her diamonds and emeralds and an original ring with a beautiful inscription she wanted to save. We used every single stone and put the inscription on the inside, so all of those pieces became one ring she’ll actually wear. It wraps around her finger but sits low, so she gets the statement without it getting in the way of her everyday.

You don’t need a finished idea to get started. Bring in the pieces you already have, whether that’s a ring you haven’t worn in years or a few loose stones from an old setting, or just tell us who it’s for, and we’ll design it together from there.

There’s still time to do it the way we love to: sitting down with you, working through the design until it feels right, and getting it into production without anyone having to rush.

You already know I can’t walk past Jessie without stopping... so here’s where she started.

Before she was sitting in our case, she was a sketch. We drew her around a square emerald cut Zambian emerald, bezel set in a bold signet, with 12 little diamonds scattered across the band for that wink of sparkle.

The one thing the sketch couldn’t capture? That green. 💚 Swipe to see Jessie in full color.

Pink & Gold Stack | Available Online + In-Studio ✨

If you’re starting a stack, Ollie is such a good first stacking band. Her alternating bezel-set diamonds feel classic with a little twist, which makes her easy to build around, and we have her in two sizes in the case right now.

Here she’s sandwiching a handful of micro stacking bands, which is my favorite way to build from there. Because they’re so slim, you can fit a lot more on one finger than you’d think, and each one brings something different, whether it’s a pop of pink sapphire or the open gold chain work in Toni.

Start with Ollie and add stacking bands as you find the ones you love. They take up so little room that you can keep playing with your stack and changing it depending on what feels like you that day. 🩷
