Ever wondered how I make cubes?
Today is day 2 on this d6 style cube. Patterned cubes cost more because I am tracking the build of 4-5 sides all at the same time, while also tracking core size if it is steel inside like this one.
This sticky note shows how I'm tracking which side is which as I build. In the first 5 layers it's pretty hard to tell which is going to be which.
As well as the drawn out pattern, I also have reference images for where the "dots" will be placed on each side that I need to keep track of to keep the sides clean and dots correctly placed.
This project will likely take me week to complete, but I'm looking forward to sharing it!
