Thank you so much Jarleene Almenas and the Ormond Beach Observer for taking the time with us and allowing us to celebrate being part of our Downtown and the Ormond Beach community. We love Ormond Beach. It’s
the best place :) and our family’s home for over 25 years now. We know Abiud and Aileen will be a vital and fantastic addition to a great Downtown ❤️

Scott and Shannon McLeish have sold their business to Abiud Rivera, a local master bench jeweler with about 45 years of industry experience.

We have big news! Meet the new owners of The Pocket Jeweler - Abiud, a Master Jeweler who has worked right here in Volusia for nearly 30 years and his lovely wife, Aileen! We are so delighted to be able to pass the torch to such a wonderful family and to someone as dedicated, passionate and experienced in the jewelry industry as Abiud. Very soon they will be opening for regular hours to serve all your jewelry needs - especially creating your one-of-a-kind custom pieces and repairing or recreating your beloved heirlooms!

It is with some sadness and much gratitude for the warmth, fun, and memories we've had here at The Pocket Jeweler. During our years of serving as a vital retail anchor in downtown Ormond Beach, our family has flourished. It has been such a joy for us, but now we’re retiring.

We would love to see someone else carry on with what we put so much into building here, someone with a fresh perspective who would grow the store into the future. If you love jewelry, are entreprenurial, and dream of owning your own small business, The Pocket Jeweler is turn-key. All you need is already here and we can offer you as much or as little in inventory and training to get you started as you would like.

Please only serious inquiries with sufficient capital to get started with something like this. Purchasing the set-up and fixtures would not be prohibitively costly depending on the level of support you need but you would either need to have your own existing stock or sufficient funds to purchase. Please call 386.275.1080.
