Friends, I need your help. Seriously, I have a big favor to ask. First of all, thank you for supporting our local, family business for the past 30+ years. Not a day goes by without seeing many old familiar faces, and even more new ones. We got into this business to be a trusted partner and friend and to help as many as we can avoid the “dark side of the jewelry business” that I experienced before deciding to open House of Diamonds. We just finished a record February and are on pace to set another record in March. We are both grateful and humbled. And I’ll be honest, it’s a challenge trying to keep up. And while we love the challenge, we could sure use some help. I need to grow our team!
This is the favor I’m asking of you: I need to add 2-3 super-service people at the counter to help clients, and 2-3 experienced craftspeople in the shop. These are FULL-TIME positions. These are non-commissioned, service-first people up front. (Our salaries are more than what most commissioned salespeople make because we hire the best and, of course, will never ask them to sell a lab-diamond.) In the shop, I need skilled jewelers who are passionate about their craft and understand the meaning behind the pieces they work on. They are team players. Our designer pieces are one-of-a-kind, and they want to use their skills to do something special and be paid well for it.
