This is ROLEX's new green seal. It symbolizes the extension of the Superlative Chronometer certification to the brand’s seven pillars of watchmaking excellence. Until now, Rolex tested the precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve of each finished watch. Today, resistance to magnetism and overall reliability – assessed as early as the design phase – are also taken into account. Sustainability, too, is now considered a key criterion, extending beyond the watches themselves to encompass all of the company’s activities. The green seal embodies the journey of each watch through Rolex workshops, from initial sketch to final testing. Of all the elements associated with Rolex watches, it is certainly not the most complex to produce, yet it is uniquely Rolex’s. It represents the commitment of the entire manufacture.
