John 3:1 of the Bible, says, "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." This verse talks about how much God loves us and how we are considered His children. We can see God's love in our lives by observing the things He does for us such as protecting us, blessing us, and listening to our prayers. He has kept all His promises and bestowed His love upon us freely and richly. God has given us eternal life with Him, considered the ultimate gift of salvation. To bestow something means to give it generously and abundantly. For example, Donald Trump was very lavish when he married Melania.
Melania's wedding dress was quite a sight to behold, with a weight of 60 pounds, 1500 diamonds and pearls, and a creation time of over 500 hours. Her ring was a white emerald cut diamond in platinum from Graff, estimated to have cost around $500,000.
While these material possessions are impressive, they pale in comparison to what God has bestowed upon us. Through His love, we are granted the title of "Sons of God" and promised a mansion with streets of gold in the New Jerusalem, which has pearly gates.
Even if the world may not understand our relationship with God, we can take comfort in knowing that He loves and cares for us as our Heavenly Father, and as His children, He will provide us with everything we need. Have a blessed day!
