Sometimes, gold is all you need

This minimal piece was brought into being through an initial melt to produce a gold sphere, then a repeated process of hammering and annealing (heating the gold so it remains malleable rather than becoming brittle and cracking as it's worked).
The result is a beautifully weighty hammered disk, featuring two loops at the top that allow it to slide smoothly along a finely-wrought wheat chain. We're in love with the intersection of rustic and elegant this necklace falls within
