Beads for Charon, a much overlooked god in the Greek pantheon. He's actually the son of 2 primordial deities: Nyx and Erebos. He assists Hades in the Underworld by transporting the souls of the deceased across the Rivers Styx and Acheron. He charges an obol coin as his fee, usually left in the mouth of the deceased prior to burial. Charon doesn't have much in the way of sacred crystals or numbers. I chose 3 to represent life, death, and rebirth. I chose rainbow obsidian to represent the dark, oily waters of the rivers and smokey quartz for this liminal space in between worlds. The spacer beads are a matte black - Charon is a no-frills kind of guy. For charms he has a boat, 2 howlite skulls, and a small obol replica shipped in from Turkey. The second picture is a close-up of the rainbow obsidian to show its beautiful sheen.

Items for Small Business Saturday at Gem Goddess Emporium tomorrow 11/29 from 11am-5pm. Yule wreath with ribbon, bells, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, and allspice. Turkey tail whisk broom with purple, black, and natural broomcorn, and a triple goddess charm. Cobweb broom with tree of life and moon phases charm. Hawk's tail broom with yellow, orange, and red broomcorn, an orange slice with star anise, sun charm, and 3 red-dyed quartz beads. There will be more beads and witch's bells. Stop by and visit. 🥰
