These last few months have been full of changes, I've been mostly off of social media, haven't created any new pieces in weeks, and it seems like the best option for right now is for me to step back from my business... I love designing, creating, doing markets and events, as well as all the other artists I meet along the way, and hope to return next summer!
This season of life, of parenting, of work/home projects/health simply doesn't allow for the full-time hours I need to put in.
I love my job at Burn, and couldn't give that up, either. We will be hosting a French exchange student for the 2024/2025 school year, and are excited to welcome her to our family this August.
I've cancelled all markets/shows for this year and next spring. I hope to continue with the boutique partnerships I've been fortunate enough to have these last few years, and bring fresh ideas when I return. This pause will allow me to be present, focused on my children (three teenage girls and Gray -- pray for me!) continue at Burn, and plan for the next chapter of my business...
