Our client came in to the store looking for a special gift for his wife. He found our "design your own" section of loose stones and empty mountings. He chose this simple heart pendant and said he wanted 3 sapphires and 1 garnet. I was curious about the stone choices and asked why he chose them. He said "blue is her favorite color and red is for love".
It was such a beautiful reminder of how special jewelry can be. Every time his wife looks at this, she will be reminded of the love that inspired it. Custom doesn't have to be elaborate or over the top. Sometimes just a simple change can make a big difference. 💕

This gold necklace and earrings set pairs tsavorite garnets and diamonds with yellow gold for a dazzling look. Tsavorites are one of the rarer members of the garnet family — first discovered in Tanzania in the late 1960s and named after Kenya's Tsavo National Park, where they're also found. Unlike traditional reddish-brown garnets, tsavorites glow a vibrant green that rivals emerald, but with better clarity and durability.

This set is available in white or yellow gold, and can also be created with rubies or sapphires in place of the tsavorites — so even if green isn't your color, we've got you covered. 🙂💚

Earring jackets: one of our favorite tricks in the jewelry box 💎

These stones came from an old watch, one that had stopped keeping time but still held its diamonds. The client wanted something simple and elegant they could actually wear every day, so we reset the diamonds into two pieces: a classic diamond stud, and a three-diamond jacket that slides on behind it.

Worn alone, they're clean, everyday studs. Add the jacket, and the same earrings become something with more presence for a night out. Same diamonds, same posts, two completely different looks depending on the day.

It's one of our favorite ways to give a piece that's been sitting in a drawer new life, and to build in some flexibility for however the day (or the outfit) calls for it.

Meet the newest addition to our case: a sterling silver ring built around an Ethiopian opal, with bezel-set teal diamonds tucked into a swirling cast design along the band.
