At ECJ, inclusivity is not a seasonal campaign or a trend. It is part of how we approach this work every day. From the way we design, to the way we communicate, to the experience we want every person to have when they walk through our doors or shop with us online.

Everyone deserves to feel celebrated, respected, and comfortable being themselves, especially during life’s biggest moments.

So here’s to another Pride and another year of building a jewelry brand that makes space for people, their journeys, and more ways to love. 🌈

Stop by our store anytime this month to pick up stickers, or catch at local Pride events to grab yours there.

At this point we are not designing rings anymore, we are just seeing how much sparkle the laws of physics can handle.

What is the price a customer pays for transparency?

It is not just a higher price tag on a piece of jewelry. It is the cost of doing things the harder way on purpose.

The rings in this photo are an example of the work behind the scenes that transparency actually requires, documentation, tracking, audits, sourcing conversations, certifications, chain of custody records, and constant follow through. It means additional fees to support all of that labor and infrastructure. It means facing the parts of the industry that are still complicated and imperfect instead of pretending they are not there.

Those costs exist whether people acknowledge them or not. We would rather be transparent about where that labor, money, and infrastructure are actually going than pretend traceable sourcing happens without effort, accountability, or ongoing work behind the scenes.

Been into buying pieces with some history to them lately. But it's also cool to think about the pieces where the history starts with us. Our newest Three Stone Hague rings have that "I'm ready to live with you forever" feeling.

Guess what all these rings have in common?
They come without the custom price tag.
Diamond or gemstone, pick your stone and choose from any of our made-to-order designs. Not fully custom, but still just for you.

Been taking time to reflect on the years of being known to advocate and fight for the LGBTQ+ community. This past year we were nominated for a Gem Award because of our inclusive selling practices for the Retail Innovation award. Wildly, it feels like we might actually be changing the industry’s approach to ring shopping. But how crazy is it that making people feel welcomed and seen is considered innovative?

Imagine if the whole industry took the approach of letting the client drive the conversation about what ring they want, not “directing you to our bridal section.”
No assumptions. No gendering. No pressure.
Ask questions, listen, and let the client define what matters.

It’s not a trend. It’s why this has been part of our process for years, and it shows up in our team, our marketing, and the couples we work with. If it doesn't, we aren't doing our job well enough.

I can think of a few reasons hand engraving is so hot right now but truthfully, it’s one of the most classy and timeless customizations you can add to your ring.

Hand engraving has been around for centuries- it feels like one of the few ways you can still get that truly hand made look since it is all carved by hand and it carries such an old world talent that we all crave and seek right now.

Hand engraving brings a sparkle without the bling and it ages beautifully, making your piece an instant heirloom to be handed down for generations.
