Surprise! I’m set up at the St. Paul Barrel Races today! 🐝🌾💛

This was a little bit of a last-minute decision, but I’ve always had such a soft spot for barrel races. They take me right back to when I was first starting Bees and Wheat—hauling my jewelry along and setting up while my sister raced and then she’d come help me. Theres nothing like good “sister time”. There’s just something about the barrel racing crowd, too. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and fun to spend the day with.

So here I am with a table full of turquoise, a whole lot of jewelry, and some very happy memories. 💛

I’m not quite sure how late I’ll be here today—the forecast is HOT, and after all the work I’ve put in this week, I’m definitely feeling a little tired. 😂 So if you’re out at the races and want to come shop, say hi, or see what I’ve been working on, come find me sooner rather than later!

And honestly… getting to wear this big beautiful turquoise necklace today isn’t a bad bonus either. 😉💙

Come say hi at the St. Paul Barrel Races! 🐎✨

A little dream came true today. 🤍

You can now shop Bees & Wheat Silver Co. in person at Roots & Roads Boutique in Molalla!

I spent the afternoon filling this beautiful display case with my handcrafted sterling silver and turquoise jewelry, and seeing it all together made me so proud. Every piece was made by my two hands, right here in Oregon.

If you’re in the area, stop by, say hello to the wonderful ladies at Roots & Roads, and take a peek. Their Grand Opening is tomorrow from 10 AM–5 PM, with shopping, dirty sodas, permanent jewelry, and more!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this little dream of mine. It means more than you know. 🐝🌾

If you ever wondered what my life looks like in one photo… here it is. 😂

⚽ Soccer season is in full swing.
📦 Goodies are arriving in the mail.
💍 Custom orders are spread across the bench.
✨ New stones are waiting to become something beautiful.
🤷‍♀️ And yes… my workspace is an absolute disaster.

It’s a little messy, a little chaotic, and somehow exactly where I’m supposed to be. I wouldn’t trade this busy season for anything.

Now… if you’ll excuse me, I have custom orders to finish, packages to open, and soccer practices to run. ❤️

✨ A little change of pace this week…

I stepped away from my silversmithing bench to create something very special—my sister’s wedding cake. 🤍

A fun fact about me that many of you may not know: before Bees and Wheat Silver Co. ever existed, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Fine Art, followed by a Baking & Patisserie certificate, and worked as a pastry chef. After my kids were born, I chose to stay home with them, and eventually discovered silversmithing. It gave me a creative outlet that I could build into a business from home, and I absolutely fell in love with it.

These days, I don’t make cakes professionally anymore, but every now and then I dust off those skills for the people I love most. Creating wedding cakes has become one of my favorite gifts to give family and close friends, and this one was especially meaningful.

I’m incredibly proud of how this cake turned out. It was a labor of love, and getting to see it at my sister’s wedding made every late night worth it.

Now it’s time to head back to the studio! I’ll be spending this week at the bench catching up on custom silver orders, and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on next. Thank you all for your patience while I took a brief detour to celebrate family. 🤍

🤍 What an incredible week. 🐝 🌾

Thank you to every single person who stopped by my booth, shared kind words, purchased a piece, or simply took the time to admire my work. Your support means more than I can ever put into words. Watching my jewelry find its new homes was the perfect ending to an unforgettable week.

Many of you don’t know that I live with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and a couple other conditions that go hand-in-hand with hEDS, which affects my joints, connective tissue and nervous system. Weeks like this are absolutely worth it, but they also take a big toll on my body. Today my joints are reminding me just how much work went into creating everything you saw this week.

I’m going to spend this next week resting, letting my body recover, and soaking up some time with my family before I jump back into the studio. Custom orders will begin after that, and I’ll be reaching out to everyone in the order they were received.

Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine, for being so patient, and for allowing me to keep creating pieces that I truly love making. I can’t wait to show you what’s next. ❤️

🤎 Day 3 at the St. Paul Rodeo! 🤎

It’s hard to believe we’re already on Day 3. Walking into my booth each morning and seeing it full of pieces that started as loose stones, vintage finds, and sheets of silver in my studio is such a rewarding feeling.

This week has been filled with wonderful conversations, familiar faces, and new customers discovering Bees and Wheat Silver Co. Every person who stops by, whether to shop or simply say hello, makes this experience even more special.

If you’re at the rodeo today, come find me in the Trading Post! I’d love to help you find the perfect piece to take home, or just chat for a bit.

Thank you for supporting handmade, small businesses, and this dream of mine. I truly couldn’t do it without all of you. 💛🐝 🌾

✨ Just about two hours left of Day 2 at the St. Paul Rodeo! 🤠

What an incredible week it’s been already. I’m so grateful for everyone who’s stopped by the booth, shared kind words, admired my work, and taken home a piece of Bees & Wheat Silver Co. Your support means the world to this small business.

The displays are still full of one-of-a-kind turquoise, handcrafted silver, twilly slides, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and all the little western details I love creating. If you’ve been meaning to stop by, there’s still time!

Come find me in the Trading Post for the last couple hours of Day 2—I can’t wait to see you! 💙

What a day. 🤍🐝 🌾

As I pack up after day one at the St. Paul Rodeo, I find myself standing back and just taking it all in. A few weeks ago this was all scattered across my workbench, and now it’s sitting in a booth I’m incredibly proud of.

This has been my biggest show yet, and seeing people stop, try things on, share stories, and support my little business has meant more than I can put into words. Every piece on these tables was made by hand, and getting to see them find new homes is the best feeling.

I’m ending today exhausted, grateful, and with a very full heart. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped, shared kind words, or simply admired my work. I can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow. 🤎

✨ One more sleep until the St. Paul Rodeo. ✨

This week, I kept looking at my to-do list and feeling like I hadn’t made enough. There were still ideas I didn’t get to and pieces I wish I’d had time to finish. I was incredibly disappointed.

Then tonight, while giving everything one final wash before tomorrow, I stopped and counted.

75 individual pieces and 12 pairs of earrings…
In one week.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what didn’t get done that we forget to celebrate what did. I’m incredibly proud of what I created this week, and every piece was made by hand with so much care.

Tomorrow they’ll all be heading to the St. Paul Rodeo Trading Post, and I honestly can’t wait to see everyone. If you’re coming to the rodeo, stop by and say hi—I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been working on.

See you tomorrow! 🤍🐝 🌾

✨ A little western charm with a whole lot of heart. 🤍🎀

Today’s creations include a Twilly slide featuring a 2016 Pendleton Round-Up Tough Enough to Wear Pink pin and three sterling silver turquoise hair pins that would be perfect for a special occasion, or a wedding as your “something blue.”

I took the evening off to take my daughter to a birthday party and spend some much-needed quality time with my family, so this is a little late-night post. I still have plenty to finish before I’m ready for Tuesday, but I’m reminding myself that rest is part of the process too. I can work hard without running myself into the ground—and I’ll make better jewelry because of it.

Can’t wait to share everything with you at the St. Paul Rodeo! 💙
