I guess the cat is out of the bag. RSR will be reopening this week! The show calendar is already starting to look impressive! Off With Their Heads (3rd time in Pittsfield), Blanks 77 (5th time in Berkshires), Henry Rollins at BCC presented by RSR and The Poncherellos 2.5. Can’t wait to get back to rocking Pittsfield!

What a show last night! The Damaged crushed it as usual! Kevin's two-amp attack filled the room and was a perfect compliment to Colin's vocals, Mark's drumming and Jay's bassing! made their first live appearance in over 10 years and what can be said about one of the best New England bands who've never properly recorded. They're legends! made it through their set without any asthma issues and that was a surprise! surprised us all with a line-up featuring almost 25 past members of the band come up and play a song! It was wild to see 5 drummers, 10 guitarists, 3 bassists and 4 singers play the same set twice. Until next year!

A few months after RSR closed in 2010, Bomb the Music Industry! played the basement of the VFW basement on Linden Street on a Monday night. It was very last minute as I had told the VFW I needed the room for Monday. They said, "what Monday?" and I said "in about 7 hours". By teeth's skin, I pulled it off. Jeff Rosenstock and the band along with Cheap Girls played unforgettable sets. Were you there? There's video of some of the show on YouTube but here's Jeff and his solo band playing some music on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night. While the band weren't live in the studio, this is still pretty cool. If you saw Jeff perform a wild set in the VFW with no stage, no proper show lights, you witnessed something really special.
