When J came in, she already knew exactly what she wanted (we love a woman with a plan). A round diamond bold enough to turn heads, but sized and set to survive twelve hour shifts, scrubs, and yes, gloves, because being a nurse means your ring has to keep up with you.

We got to work designing a setting as tough as she is, and now? It's perfect.

Up next: a wedding band designed to match her shank, because this love story (and this ring) is just getting started.

Years ago, Matt and Susie's son, Anders wrote his parents a letter:
"I would wish to be the forth Generation of Forsythe Jewelers."

He misspelled "fourth." Susie kept the letter.

He grew up in the shop the same way his mother had — at the cases, on summer breaks, learning the names of the gemstones.

Now as part owner, Anders carries the family name and craft forward; his letter that got tucked away, turned out to be a promise.

The American Gem Society is one of the jewelry industry's most respected accrediting bodies, built on standards of ethics, expertise, and ongoing education.

In 1987, Forsythe Jewelers earned its place among AGS member firms, a credential we tested into then and have kept doing so into our fourth generation.

That standard runs through the whole team as all staff earn their Certified Sales Associate title, renewed yearly.

Matt earned his Graduate Gemologist title from GIA back in 1985 and later added a Certified Gemologist credential through AGS. Jan, with almost three decades at the bench, is a Certified Gemologist too (we're surrounded by overachievers).

At Forsythe, we prioritize education and never miss an opportunity to grow and learn.
