⚠️ POCATELLO: BEFORE YOU SELL YOUR GOLD, PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION. ⚠️

We’ve recently had multiple customers come into Molinelli’s after selling gold, jewelry, coins, and other valuables to traveling buying groups operating out of local hotels. Unfortunately, some discovered afterward that they may have left hundreds—and in some cases thousands—of dollars on the table. We ourselves have a buying group coming to our store in september, these rules apply regardless of location.

Remember these rules/guidelines:

• Get a second opinion. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking an offer, walking away, and comparing it somewhere else.

• Know what you have. Gold value can vary dramatically based on karat, weight, condition, collectibility, gemstones, brand, and other factors.

• Be cautious of pressure to sell immediately. A fair offer should still be a fair offer after you've had time to think about it.

• Consider who you're doing business with. A traveling buying group may only be in Pocatello for a few days. Once they leave town, you may never see them again.

Molinelli’s and the various other Pocatello stores that buy gold here have been part of this community. We live here. We work here. Our reputation depends on how we treat our neighbors because we have to look you in the eye tomorrow. Even if you have NO intention of selling to us, bring your items in and get a comparable offer before making a decision elsewhere.

There is no harm in getting a second opinion. There can be ALOT of harm in not getting one.

Please share this with your friends, parents, and grandparents—especially if they’re considering selling old jewelry, gold, coins, or inherited pieces.

Carson and Lindsay spent a few months bringing this one-of-a-kind design to life. From sketches and renderings to 3D prints, every detail was intentional to make sure the final piece was absolutely perfect.
And, of course, finding the perfect diamond was a very important part of the process, Lindsay was absolutely honored to get to hand select the diamond for Hailee and Carson while in Antwerp this April.
