Celebrating our Readers Choice Award with a peak Behind The Bench! 👀

Anyone who’s been to our shop has likely seen owner, Morgan Mikula, leaning over her bench quietly crafting her one-of-a-kind pieces.

With 20 years of experience, Morgan began her journey after freshman year of college during a summer program in metal-smithing and art history in Florence, Italy. There, she discovered her passion for jewelry design, creating structural pieces, and working with recycled metals.

Morgan says “In my future summer sessions, I also went to Poland and Germany to study oil painting and do sculptural installations while continuing to explore my passion for jewelry by meeting different artisanal makers. It was so inspiring to see the incredible work everyone was doing, and how truly unique their work was. My sculptural work and those days exploring Europe heavily influenced the jeweler I grew into.”
