Boho Jewelry by Susan Born in the 50s and shaped by the freedom of the 60s and 70s, I have spent most of my life creating by hand.

My work reflects a lived in Boho spirit, guided by intuition, experience, and a lifelong love of slow, soulful making and self expression.

Layering bracelets sometimes has a little rhyme & reason! Large nugget Tiger Eye gemstones, smaller Mother of. pearls, and smaller Tiger Eye gemstones mixed with 14 karat gold. I think these work really well together.

One tip I like is to work with odd numbers: 1, 3, 5 or more. One bracelet can stand on its own, while three or five make a lovely stack.

I like mixing bead sizes, colors & textures so each bracelet adds something to the look. How many you wear is up to you!

Ceramic earrings with deep teal & little pops of orange. For some reason, I just love these little earrings. Maybe it’s the colors, maybe it’s their shape. They make me smile.

Handmade jewelry comes with a whole lot more than designing.

I love letting my imagination wander, picking out Gemstones, beads, findings, and leather, and seeing what comes together.

Then there’s this part. Pricing, tagging, sorting, organizing, and trying to find the desk underneath it all.

Handmade Sea Sediment Jasper necklace with knotted leather and soft blues accented by pink, cream, and green.

I love how the dark leather and individual knots bring out the colors of these Gemstones. The sun patterned button and dangling beaded ends add to that relaxed, earthy Boho feel I’m always drawn to.

Easy to pair with a simple shirt and jeans.

I love the wind chimes with this necklace.

But the necklace, that’s the focus. Turquoise gemstone nuggets crocheted on silk, with a large Turquoise Howlite gemstone focal point.

This is a wire piece I made. I first made it as a bracelet, but it easily could be converted into a necklace. Assuredly a of a kind Boho piece. And of course, all handmade.
