Today, we honor the fallen heroes who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸 We are especially proud of our local NJROTC cadets, who are representing our community today by marching down Constitution Avenue in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C.! Wishing you a meaningful and safe holiday.

This morning our NJROTC placed a wreath for Norvin Dale Brockett, He attended Crook County High School - At 18 years old, US Army Corporal and Central Oregonian Norvin Brockett was declared missing in action in North Korea in 1950 during the Korean War. His remains were recovered and identified almost 70 years later and laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors on July 21, 2021. An honor they had this morning to pay respects to one of our own during their visit to Arlington National Cemetery.
