Disastrous Paracord

PIIINK! It's my new obsession!!

03/27/2025

Yesterday I put an application in for the $1500 grant with H.O.W.A. (Homes On Wheels Alliance) to try and come up with a 'plan-backbone'...

At this rate, the back of the van is being aired out, but not drying. Us PNWers are waiting for the rain to stop so we can work on our vans!! 😂😂😢😭

If HOWA comes through, every sunny day I'll be working on gutting her, so I can rebuild afap.

Please don't be afraid to SHARE SHARE SHARE this and every preceeding post on the matter!! You may not be able to contribute directly, but everyone who follows you might, or might know someone who's open to helping!

Well, today I ripped up the carpet in the back driver's side and discovered that its wood is rotten more than the center under my bed...

I'd like to remove the entire board that sits in the floor, but I have to disconnect all the power from the solar...

Then I can remove the center piece with the speaker and control charger, and then start removing all my electrical off the passenger side of the plywood.

Do I know any solar experts in Washington state who can offer some assistance? Feel free to reach out!

Anyway, things are going slow because the weather won't stay dry...

Soon though, I'll be so busy workin on Her, she'll be done before you know it!

I've been on the road for 8 years, and suddenly... that may come to an end!

I recently found a huge wet spot under my bed, and now it's graduating to the center of The White Pearl (the van).

The only way to survive this is to rip everything out, repair the leaks, and rebuild the inside, so...

A complete remodel!!

As some of you know; I'm on a disability income (SSI) and can't afford a hit like this! So...

I'm turning to you; the followers, the fans, the nomads and everyone they can reach who aren't nomads!!

PLEASE HEEELP!!

The plan, after I generate the funds to repair and/or rebuild The Pearl is to rip out all the carpet, rip out all the furnishing, then have a complete remodel done.
